when it came to creating my zine, i thought about how different people affected by the shutdown experienced something different. in the zines that i have printed out for my class, on the pathos page there are different quotes from different people, and how they were affected by the shutdown. i want my viewers to all have a different experience when looking at the zine, because the people affected by this shutdown did not experience the same events.
in another version of this zine, it is untraditional in pages/spreads. sequins in books are usually in variables of 4, but this zine has 10 pages. I wanted this book to feel different and not be something everyone/a designer would expect, because a government shutdown is something we don't expect in a country that is built off of freedom.
